Hike up City Creek

Last night for family home evening we took the kids up to city creek. We picked up a hot and ready pizza and rootbeer on the way and ate out of the back of the van when we got there. Then we hiked up the trail. The leaves are all turning and falling already. It was really pretty, and I think we all had a good time. I love the mountains and the peaceful feeling you feel while there. I am so grateful for good health that allows us to do so many fun things.

Canning peaches

I never thought I would be proud of a bottle of peaches. I am proud to say that I have successfully canned the peaches I had. It is not an easy job with three little children begging for your attention. Brooke being the hardest! So you can guess what I have been doing all day Saturday. I know they are not the prettiest bottles, but they are good enough for us. To save my sanity, Boyd was sweet enough to take me on a date afterwards. We went to A.F. to a concert. It was really fun to get away.

Brooke dancing

Brooke was jammin out to the music. I hurried and grabbed the camera, but of coarse she wouldn't do it as good. It was still really cute though. She has such a cute personality!

Megan's soccer game

We went to Megan's soccer game on Saturday. It was a lot of fun. Boyd is the coach, so it can get interesting. Megan did really good, she scored two goals. She is getting to be a good little soccer player! Micah was being a stinker, you can see how into the game he was!

We had creamies for family home evening, and I was just going to share mine with Brooke and she grabbed it and ate the whole thing! She finished before Micah and Megan. It was so cute! She must really like icecream!

1st day of school pictures

I just wanted to post some cute pictures that I took on the first day of school for Megan and Micah. Also I had to add some pictures of Brooke.

The Fair

We went to the eastern Idaho Fair on Friday. It was a lot of fun. The kids had a blast riding rides and eating fair food. There was a ton of people, but we had fun anyway. Here are some pictures of the kids riding the roller coaster. They loved it!

Wow, I didn't realize how out of it I really was. This was a lot harder than I expected. I hope everyone enjoys this, because it has taken me all day. It was actually kind of fun I guess. Anyway, we are just getting ready to start soccer season. Boyd is the coach, so we will see how this goes. Megan is really excited, she enjoys soccer, so it makes it all worth it. Micah just started preschool, and had his 2nd day today. He loves it. So me and Brooke were the only ones home this morning. It was kind of weird. I miss my kids while they are at school. I guess I need to enjoy the time alone to get caught up on house work.
