HAPPY VALENTIINES DAY!!!

We had a great valentines day! Boyd suprised me and took me to Idaho Falls, we ate at Johnny Carinos and then went and showed the kids where Boyd asked me to marry him at the Idaho Falls temple. It was very romantic!! I had a lot of fun. We have a tradition every Valentines day that I leave a valentine for the kids on the kitchen table, and they wake up and get to see what they got. Boyd got almond roca, the kids got a little box of chocolates and they each got a little set of dishes in their favorite character, and Boyd got me flowers and a candle. We had Boyd's sister's family over for breakfast burritos and got to share some fun laughs with them. Over all it was a great day!

Just call me an idiot!!

You know how my camera has been "broke". I have been going crazy without it, so the other day I begged Boyd to look at it. Well, I guess all it needed was new batteries. I am such a dork. We use rechargeable batteries, and the ones I had been using I guess have lost their charge. I actually suspected that, so I tried other batteries (from the dollar store...don't trust them) and they didn't work. I guess I need to stop being such a cheap skate and buy Duracell! So now I have to go buy new rechargeable batteries and we will be back in business!! Hooray!!!

25 Random things about me

Well I have been tagged several times on face book, but I can't figure out how to do it there, so this is the best I can do.

New Job position...Horray!!!

Boyd has been looking for a better job for a couple of months now. He was hoping for an up in salary and would like to get his masters. Well on Friday, AMS which is the company he is currently with, fired their lead engineer and offered Boyd the position! We couldn't turn down the offer. It is a significant pay increase, they are going to pay for his masters, and are paying for his cell phone. (Which is a big deal because we are old fashioned and haven't ever gotten cell phones.) So anyway, we are thrilled to say the least. I am so proud of Boyd, he is a great engineer and works really hard for AMS. Good job honey!!!

"Australia"

We had the opportunity to go out with my parents and Boyd's parents last night to the movie "Australia". It was so much fun. We hadn't been to a movie in awhile and it was fun to go with both of our parents. I really thought the movie was very good. It had a wonderful love story and kept you on your toes the whole time. I really recommend it!! It helps that Hugh Jackman is in it...hmmm....he is pretty good looking, I have to admit!!! Thanks Emily for the recommendation!!!

What a dilemma...

We have quite the dilemma going on in our home. All Megan wants for her birthday is a dog! Which posed a huge problem! I won't allow dogs in our home, and Boyd won't allow a dogs in our yard...the yard is his baby...he fusses over it more than he fusses over me! Anyhow, she has been begging for a dog for awhile now, and she wants one so bad for her birthday. Well, I keep telling her that she is not getting a dog for her birthday, but man it makes me feel really bad! The other day she said something so funny. We were driving in the car and she said, "Mom, I need to talk to you about something. Lately, I just feel like something is missing in my life. I don't know what it is, but I just feel weird, like something is missing." Well, I thought it would be something serious, things were running through my head, like something gospel related, another sibling we were suppose to have. I was a little bit taken back by the comment. I said, "Like what, you have to help me here, I don't have any idea what it could be." Then she said, "I don't know, something is definitely missing, something kinda like a dog or something I think!" I just started laughing. She is 6 years old, and comes up with the funniest things. I then told her, "No Megan, we can't get a dog." So what do I do, just keep breaking her heart forever...it is all she talks about! I guess we really are horrible parents!!!!

I am still waiting to get our camera fixed! I am going crazy...so I got to looking through some old pictures. I found so many cute pictures of the kids! We have a ton of Brooke...she's the baby...what can it say!! I had to post some of her. She is just so cute to me! She has such a cute little personality to go with her little cute face. We have enjoyed having her in our family so much. Micah and Megan just love her too...they spoil her as bad as I do!!!!
