My first Albertsons trip

Well, this morning I went to Albertsons with my stack of coupons and list! I was really nervous, worrying that I would make a mistake....heaven forbid!! I was there for 2 hours, but I think it was worth it. I ended up spending $70 but saved over $150. I left with a lot of groceries too! I think I will learn more and more each time. The only mistake I know I made was on yoplait yogurt. I didn't get the right amount to get the special. You really have to watch it....they're tricky! Anyway, I was pretty proud over what I saved.

The world of couponing!!

I just went to a class on pinching your pennies this morning. It was very interesting! I couldn't believe how much money you can save by doing coupons. I signed up to get the paper, so we will see if I can figure the whole thing out! It sounds kind of fun, I just hope I don't get too discouraged at first. I have been wanting to learn how people save so much money by using coupons, I am still a little disbelieving that I can make it work, but I am willing to give it a whirl. The girl who did the class does all her shopping at Albertsons and I know a lot of people who do it at Walgreens, but I know Walgreens is a bit more challenging, so I am going to stick to Albertsons for now. I will post something on how my first trip to Albertsons goes when I dare do it!!! How exciting!!

Easter Sunday!

This is Easter morning...and yes the Easter bunny found the kids! Here are a few pics of the big event. The Easter bunny left the kids basketballs, and Brooke got a Dora coloring book and then they got to find the eggs that the bunny hid! Pretty exciting!!!

The Utah Jazz game

Since Megan took played Jr. Jazz, we were able get some cheap tickets to the Jazz game. I have always been a big fan of the Jazz, so I was really looking forward to it. We took Megan and went to the game on Friday, that they lost by 1 point. It was fun even if they did loose, and Megan had a blast!

Well, my sister has been giving me crap for not updating my blog, so I decided to get down here today and do it. I am finally feeling better, still a bit queasy in the morning, but overall a lot better! Things are going good so far in the pregnancy and the kids are so excited! Megan thinks we should have 10 kids...I don't know about that!!! Brooke had a birthday on March 17th and turned a big 2 years old! I can't believe it!! She was suppose to stay a baby forever! Megan finished up basketball and really enjoyed doing it! We just finished up spring break and now are back to the grind again! It is really hard to enjoy spring with a foot of snow...I am not a big fan of snow!!! Anyway, here are some pictures of what we have been up to the last month or so! Enjoy!!!
