Happy fourth of July!!!

I am so excited for the holiday this weekend. We are getting ready to head to Grace for the weekend and spend time with family. I have always loved the fourth of July, probably because it is my mom's favorite holiday. Anyway we are headed up today, and tomorrow we will go to the parade and my family always does a big bbq and volleyball, and then go see fireworks after! It should be tons of fun! Happy fourth of July!!

Happy Birthday Boyd! I can't believe you are 31 today! We are getting old, or should I say you are! I'll bet it seems like just yesterday that you were sporting the pink shorts! I love you, and am so glad I got you! Happy Birthday Babe!

What we have been up to the last couple of weeks...

After one of the big rain storms the kids were out riding there bikes and pretty soon they were running through the puddles and sprinkler in there clothes. The neighbor kids joined in, so it was quite fun for them all.
One of Brooke and Micah's favorite things to do is pull out blanket and pillows and make a nice big mess for Mom to put away when they are done. I guess it keeps them entertained when we are stuck in the house day after day with bad weather!
Brooke loves to get into my purse and pull everything out and organize it for me! :) She fell asleep while she was in the middle of organizing it! It was hard work!

It is a GIRL!!!!!!

Well, we had our ultrasound last Tuesday and found out we were having a baby girl! We are so excited! I kept feeling like it was a girl, but Boyd and Micah had there minds set on a boy! So when we told Micah he was going to have another baby sister he started crying and went in his room and sulked for an hour. But now he is just fine...he says now he wants a baby sister. So it will be 3 girls and a boy in our house for a while anyway! I was so thrilled to hear that she looked healthy and everything was going as planned. My due date is October 7th, so we will be anxious for the fall...not that we are hurrying summer!!!! I am so glad to finally have some warm weather! We are so happy and love her already!

Stitches!!!

Well, here are a few pics of Brooke's stitches the day after we got them done. She is holding her stuffed animals that the nurse gave her at the hospital. She is pretty attached to them now!

Micah's 5th Birthday

Well, we were able to celebrate Micah's 5th birthday last weekend on the 9th of May. We had some of his friends over during the day for a super hero birthday. They had a lot of fun. Then later we invited Grandma and Grandpa Rowe over for ribs and for cake and ice cream. Well, right as we were pulling dinner out of the oven, Brooke came running into the kitchen and tripped and hit her head right on the corner of the cabinets, splitting her fore head wide open. So Grandma and Grandpa got to enjoy a nice rib dinner with the birthday boy, while we took Brooke to the emergency room to get stitched up! It wasn't a fun experience at all. The poor girl will be terrified of doctors from now on. We had to hold her down while she was screaming for us, and I was trying to be brave but it tore my heart in two. We got back around 10:30 and let poor Micah open his presents. He got a new bike, which he is very proud of, but now I am worried about him crashing and making another trip to the emergency room! Not fun!!! Anyway, it will be a birthday we will never forget!

Playing dress up!

This morning I was working on my lesson and the kids got into the dress up stuff and were having so much fun! Even Micah...is that okay? Anyway, I thought they were so cute. I love when they play and get along, instead of fighting all day!!!!!
